but she rebounded to watch the parade.

Big Day

 
We went to Navy Pier and went to a show called "Witches, Wizards, Spells and Elves."
 
 
At first Ellie was afraid of the witches, but she wanted an autograph when it was over.

 
It was really foggy in the city this morning.

 
Ellie dressed up as a Chicago firefighter at the children's museum.

Ellie helped Dad make a snowman right before sunset.

Bookworm

Lately Ellie wants the light left on before naps and bedtime so she can read her books before she falls asleep.

I went to check on her and found that she had fallen asleep with a huge pile of books on top of her chest.

Swim Lessons

 
Ellie started swim lessons at our gym this weekend.


 
 They have you put your face in the water and kick and jump in. Ellie really likes her class.
